Allow our Learning Specialists to attend one of your courses as a Learner and evaluate the entire experience. We will review all aspects of the training – from the moment of first contact, to the time the course is wrapped up. Every area of the training will be looked at objectively:

  • Course content
  • Style of training
  • Venue/Location
  • Room layout
  • Support material
  • Correspondence
  • Evaluations
  • Level of interactivity

Following the course, we will write a report on our findings and send it to you within two working days. The evaluation will contain a review of the course attended and will focus on identifying areas of good practice and also areas where improvements could be made.

For each improvement discussed, solutions will be put forward which could take the form of additional support from Lightbulb Training Consultancy Limited, or be areas that could be tackled ‘in-house’.

A lot of the time the courses that you run are judged on the quality of the handouts and support material that are presented.

As a general rule the material benefits from being professionally printed. It should be of benefit to the learner not only throughout the course, but also in the longer term afterwards. As the Learner starts to apply the knowledge or skills that they have developed as a result of the training, the handouts should be useful and valuable reference items.

Our experience in turning ‘techy’ user guides into end-user-friendly workbooks will ensure that learners will take away a useful and personalised reference for each course that they attend.

For any learning strategy to be effective, it is essential that an evaluation process is built into your learning solutions.

Because of the way that the brain learns, the most effective forms of evaluation are ones that are repeated several times after the training has been attended.

Evaluations can take the form of in-course reviews, immediate post-course questionnaires and later post-course assessments of the effects of the training in the working environment

Our Learning Specialists will review your current courses and provide advice on the best way to evaluate each of them.

In order to assess your training requirements, we will need to gather information about your organisation to fully understand its ethos, values and objectives. This can be achieved in a number of ways, but once known, it allows us to provide a tailored solution to your needs.

This information we help us to deliver a report that will provide you with training solutions that will maximise the benefit to both the organisation and the employee. At the same time, we endeavour to minimise disruption to ‘business as usual’ for your Managers.

Our investment menu for 2011 is very flexible and price plans can be configured based on your specific requirements. We would be very happy to discuss these with you to ensure you get the best value for money from our services. However please see the price guide below to give you an idea of our charges.

Day delegate rate (6 hour session) £125
Half day delegate rate (3 hour session) £75
(Prices for a training day are per delegate for a minimum of 4 delegates per course)


Expenses where applicable will be capped to the following maximum rates

Hotel accommodation £100 per night (£125 inside the M25)
Dinner £40 per night
Lunch £10 per day

Travel expenses will be charged at cost all on a standard class basis.
Mileage is charged at 40p per mile and based on actual return mileage from our offices in Warwickshire.

Any materials used in courses that we design will be charged at cost and agreed in advance.

All the charges listed above are net and VAT will be charged as appropriate.
